Teapot and Cup Backflow Incense Burner

This black ceramic burner is shaped like a teapot pouring into a cup. The backflow cone sits on the handle. As it burns, the smoke flows out of the spout and collects in the teacup below, like a slow, misty pour of tea.

It measures 14 cm tall, 13.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm deep, weighs about 491 g, and is made from ceramic. Cones are sold separately. Use backflow cones only. Standard solid cones will burn, but their smoke rises instead of falling. You'll find them in our backflow incense cones collection.

Why does the smoke fall? A backflow cone has a hollow channel through its base. The smoke is drawn down through it, cools on the way and comes out heavier than the warm air around it, so it sinks. It flows best in still air. Keep it away from open windows, fans and radiators. If your smoke goes up instead, read why backflow incense might not be working.
