About Mistfall

Mistfall is a small UK shop started in Wales in November 2026 by me, Dylan Powell.

Why backflow incense

A backflow burner does one thing that ordinary incense doesn't: the smoke falls. It pours down through the burner like water, or settles in a pool like mist over a lake. It's a calm, slightly hypnotic thing to watch, and that's the whole reason this shop exists (and where the name comes from).

It also has a habit of not working. Use the wrong cones, a draughty room or a burner with a poor channel and you get smoke going straight up. So a big part of what we do is help it work properly.

What we do

• We choose what we sell. We pick backflow burners, backflow cones and incense holders, rather than listing everything we could.
• We write plain guides. Our guides explain how backflow works, why it sometimes doesn't, and what to buy, without the fluff.
• We ship from the UK. Orders are packed and sent by our UK warehouse partner, so there are no import charges and no long waits. See Delivery.

We're new

Mistfall has only just opened, so we don't have any customer reviews yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. If you buy from us, we'd love to hear how you get on, good or bad.

Questions about a burner, an order or anything else? Get in touch. A real person (me) will reply.
