Pool to Pool Backflow Incense Burner

A simple, low design in glossy black. The cone sits on a raised point at the back. When lit, the smoke pours into a small pool first, then spills over into the larger pool in front. It is only 6 cm tall, so it fits on a narrow shelf or desk.

It measures 6 cm tall, 11 cm wide and 12 cm deep, weighs about 233 g, and is made from resin and polyresin. Cones are sold separately. Use backflow cones only. Standard solid cones will burn, but their smoke rises instead of falling. You'll find them in our backflow incense cones collection.

How it works: smoke leaves the bottom of a hollow backflow cone, already cooled, and that cooler smoke sinks through the warmer room air. It looks best in a still room, away from fans, open windows and heaters. If the smoke rises, see why your backflow incense isn't working.

It can take up to 10 minutes after lighting for the flow to start. A light oily residue after burning is normal and wipes off with a damp cloth.

Safety: always stand it on a heat-proof surface, and never leave lit incense unattended. Keep it away from children and pets, and open a window or door so the room stays ventilated.
